I am originally from Delaware but have made North Carolina my home. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University. I currently work as a Physical Therapist in a school system with school-aged children with special needs. I have my CrossFit Level 1 Certificate as well!
I have always loved to lead an active lifestyle and am passionate about exercise, health, and helping others. I starting doing CrossFit as a change of pace after mainly running for most of my adult life. Joining CrossFit Harrisburg has been one of the best decisions of my life. I enjoy the endless variety of exercises and WODs that are possible with CrossFit. There are infinite ways to scale a workout or to make it harder, making CrossFit an exercise routine that anyone can do, and stick to. This is what makes CrossFit so fun and enjoyable. I also love the sense of community CrossFit fosters because you always have a buddy pushing you to be your best self or to hold you accountable.
Being a coach lets me combine my background and passion for health and wellness with my favorite hobby- working out! I think I have a unique perspective as a PT and a CrossFit coach that is really beneficial to our athletes. I look forward to meeting you all! Don’t be afraid to give CrossFit a try, it really is for everyone!
